A mighty angel, believed to be Jesus, tells John to take the book from His hand and eat it. The sweetness in John's mouth represents the Rapture, a moment of salvation for a few. The sour stomach stands for the damnation of many. John is commanded to share these prophecies with different nations, peoples, languages, and kings.
